Hello strangers... I figured I'd update you guys on everything... so here we go!

Nate applied to Target and got the job... He's giving his 2 week notice on Monday at Walmart... Target pays more, gave Nate a better position, has incredible benefits, ect... and I get a 10% discount...Booyah! He starts on Monday, May 19th... right after he/we come back from war practice... so wish him luck!

Tommarro Nate goes for his sleep diagnostic in Warsaw... He'll be done Sunday morning around 6am... Hopfully we'll know sooner than later...

I went for my yearly last Wednesday...oh the fun... but everything is normal and fine... and... they're checking into giving me Minera for birth control. Its a perfected IUD device...without the hormones and sideeffects. It lasts for 5 years and is completely safe with no side effects. It also causes your body to produce more Progesterone...which all of us women know...is a GOOD thing...Gods know I could probably use it... So hopfully I'll know in a couple of weeks wether my insurance company will cover it...ect... and we'll go from there... so it looks like I won't have to worry about surgery or babies...for a nice long time... Did I mention its more effective than the pill, and tubal ligations? Only thing as effective is a Vesectomy.... only thing more effective is to not have sex...and who the fuck wants to live a life without nookie???

Emania is doing great. We watched the Golden Compass last night and she's officially in love with Iorek Byrnesin... the Polar Bear... She's doing well writing her last name, has almost got the tieing her shoes thing down pat... and is working hard in school so she can have a new bike when kindergarden ends...

SCA is going well...I gotta buy more fabric and go up to Steven and Denise's house so I can start cracking out some Roman clothing. I also had an idea for making decorative headbands with sea shells on them. We found a futon matress next door in awesome condition that we'll be using for my futon and for Pensic/ other camping events. So that just saved me some money!

What have I been up to? Trying to keep my insanity, fighting depression, figuring out what the problem is... rediscovery... all that fun shit... Yes Dave... I know... Ugly Ducking meets the Swan... yadda yadda... I miss G...lol... OH...I've been babysitting for Rose and Doug... Their daycare is on vacation so I've been watching Alex for them... and hey, it gives me some extra money... Joanne's here I come! Alex has been VERY good... alls he wants is some attention and someone to play with him.... he even cuddled with Nate on the couch while watching movies...LOL The only thing upsetting him is the fact Emania's been in school when he's been here, but next week he'll get to see plenty of her.

Rose is currently in Georgia visiting Jimmy. I hope Jimmy is able to get some rest. He's probablyy gonna be taking lots of naps... lmao. OH... for anyone interested... we're having a huge welcome home barbeque for Jim the second weekend in June... so come on over for some food and fun!!! BYOB of course, and bring a dish to pass if ya can..... I've got floor space if ya need to crash... and I will be taking keys if you drink... and for the record...no underage drinking allowed... I'm not losing my daughter for anyone's ass.... and one of my best friends from school is gonna show up... in his police officers uniform. So behave...lol

Hey everyone! I know, I know... I've been silent for awhile... everyone's probably wondering what manner of chaos has erupted in my life... but the truth is...I just haven't felt much like blogging. Hell, I have a journal I want to write in...get things outta my head and heart... but I can't even seem to muster up the determination to do so...lol... so... here's whats been going on in the world of Amy...

Major serious stuff first... Nate had to take a week of medical leave from work. He's had this horrible headache for over 2 months... and of course he wouldn't go to the doc right away like I asked him to because he was scared it had to do with the bruising in his head. So, Monday he FINALLY went to the doc... and the doctor had a totally different theory as to what was wrong. Sleep Apnea... thats right... Sleep Apnea. Made perfect sense to me... I haven't been sleeping well because I can hear Nate pause in breathing at night. So doc thinks the headaches are caused from sleep exhaustion... his body just can't seem to rest because its working too hard to keep his butt breathing...LOL. So... Tuesday he went for a CT scan...just in case... plus chest x-rays, bloodwork, urine tests...ect... just to rule out anything else... and May 3rd he has an appointment in Warsaw to sleep overnight and be monitored. If he's diagnosed with sleep apnea, he'll stay another night later in the month to be fitted for a machine. Funny thing is... Monday night Nate talked to his mom and his dad...and found out they were BOTH diagnosed with it recently... lol. So I promise to keep you posted on that...

Emania has bronchitis... but she's already feeling better today with the antibiotics she was given. Aside from being sick, the Peanut is doing well. She's on Spring Break atm... and enjoying the break. We got her 3rd quarter report card on Tuesday... she did very well, once again... and the teacher commented on Emania's vastly awesome vocabulary, and above grade reading abilities...YAY MANI!!! Mrs. Roach gave me a sheet with the 1st grade vocabulary words for Emania, because she knows Emania is bored, and thought Mani might like a taste of 1st grade. Other than that, she's just been playing, dancing, singing, and looking forward to next week when it will be warm and sunny again, and she'll be well enough to play outside ( Its currently cool and rainy ).

Me? Eh... we won't go into the inner change I'm attempting to create... But I will tell you what evil plans I've been formulating... Buawahahahahaha!!! Bellydancing is going well... I know I'd be better if I could feel better about myself... but at least I'm excersizing, right? I got to hang out with Denise and her dance group, " Naval Acedemy " a couple of weeks ago at a place called " Tri Main " in Buffalo. They were awesome!!! I really enjoyed watching Denise, Kim, and Megan dance. I also got to meet Rafika, one of Denise's closest friends. She was like a ball of flaming energy...lol. I look forward to seeing her again. Then, last weekend we stayed at Steven and Denise's house so Nate could work on our tent poles and the Roman helms the Legion is making. Denise and I made Fighting Tunic's for the legion, and bought fabric to make dresses for ourseves, Sarah, and Mani. Saturday night, I went to a Bellydancing dinner with Denise and Lindsey... it was awesome! Denise did my hair and put a rose in it...it looked very pretty! The food at the dinner was awesome... as were the dancers that night! Especially a red head named Brenda... le purr... hehehe. Anyways, it was a fun weekend, and I'm looking forward to making my chiton and some other suprises with Denise... Especially a dress Denise  had an idea for thanks to Amy Brown's art...

So then there was the evil idea for a rather large shade tent Nate aquired from Steven. This tent is fucking HUGE! Its like a banquet tent with screen doors and a huge ceiling. So Nate and I put this bad bitch up on Tuesday... and it was extremely easy to do. After stepping back and looking at it...Nate said it was going to be an officers tent. I looked at it and saw middle eastern decor with fluffy pillows and tables covered with fruit and wine... hehehehe. Needless to say, Nate loved the idea I had, and called Denise. Denise loved the idea...and talked about putting the portable hot tub in the tent as well... along with her Henna kit, an air matress, and a Hooka... Buawahahahahahahaha!!!! Now, here comes the evil part... The tent is off limits to legionare's, and everyone else unless invited by either Steven and Denise, or Nate and I. No stinky legionare's in muh hooka lounge damnit!!! LOL Of course, royalty will be welcome... including King Kalek, Queen Brawnwyn, Baron Eric, Baroness Katya, and Sir Wulfstan and his Lady... And for the record... I will be pointing and laughing at all you sorry bastards outside of the tent!!! I'm joking...JOKING!!! I'm not that mean... or am I? ( Insert evil grin )

So yeah... I've got alot of ideas for Pensic and what not... making plans for the events coming up... Probably a good thing too... as per that seems to be the only thing Nate and I really talk about anymore... at least its a positive subject, right? LOL

Anyways, I don't really have much else to report... I hope all is well with everyone else and I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch... Dave... could you ask G to take a look inside... I'm kinda blocking everyone else out... but I could really use her warm energy and guidance on a few things... I'll try to pop on yahell tonight to say hello to anyone online...

Did I mention I'm going to start learning latin? Hehehehe

I know, I know...I've been a naughty blogger... that is to say... I haven't blogged in a long, long time.

Well... here are the basics:

I quit my job. We took Emania off the sleeping meds. Last week was inventory so Nate had the week from hell. I'm slowly weening myself off pop so I can get healthy. My cat, aka, Princess Neffy, has become my new best friend...LOL. I bought a beautiful new bed set along with new sheets ( 600 thread count egyptian cotton ) and it only cost me $150... Sniggers. Due to the beauty of said bed... I have decided to remodel my bedroom ( Just new paint and border ) and am now plotting to decorate my Estrogen Den. I joined a cooking club. We ordered our tent for Pensic Wars. I've been making Grab and doing research to write a paper on the typical day of a Roman Matron. Oh, AND... I've been trying to let Them back in after having blocked them out for emotional reasons. I had a nice reading from Mandy...which was much needed... and she helped to put many fears to rest, and gave me some great news to boot...WOOT! Did I mention that after the 2 feet of snow we got this weekend, I have given Belenos a piece of my mind and informed him that Spring had better be here by the end of the month? For the record, yes, he laughed at me. ( Grumbles ) Thats ok, the Little Bright One has decided she wants Sping too, and had a nice lil chat with same Sun God... My favorite phrase was, " Listen here Mister Belenos! "... Giggles.

So between My new sheets and comforter, the new matress pad, and the re-arranging of my bedroom... I'm getting back to my normal sleep schedule... and NOT crashing on the couch by 9pm...LOL We also bought Emania a new matress pad which I'll be putting on her bed tommarro after washing her chocolate covered sheets...don't ask. OH...we've also been kicking around the idea of building Emania a loft bed. This way she can sleep on a top bunk, and have a little play area underneath... when she's older... we can incorporate a desk, ya know? Scott was kind enough to find the plans, and figures materials will cost about $150 to $200... not bad... And this way we can personalize it too...

Well...guess thats about it for now... Just wanted everyone to know I am alive... LOL... Hope all is well with everyone else... MUAH!!!
