Spirituality... and my lesson for the day
Today i thought to myself, my spiritual blog has become just another blog... so... time to fix my fuck-up. Today we discuss the Tiny Grain of Sand.
So... my quote, " Spirituality is a Tiny Grain of Sand Helping Us to Understand Our Connection to the Universe ". Many of you are probably thinking you understand what that means... but do you? I am a tiny Grain of Sand in the Universe. Is it a symbolization of how insignificant I am? No.
If you were to pluck a tiny grain of sand from any beach, on any planet, within the universe... and wipe its existence away... the Universe would collapse. The tiniest piece of anything is there for a reason... it is part of the divine makeup of our universe...
I am a Tiny Grain of Sand within my Universe, and I matter.
Why is this statement so powerful? Is it because it just might be a little poetic? No. It is powerful because it lets those of us who feel insignificant, those who feel worthless, undesirable, un-needed, powerless, those who feel all alone within this giant universe that is our existence; know that we DO matter. We ARE important, we ARE powerful, WE ARE NOT ALONE. Erase us, and the universe falls to pieces... that includes YOUR universe. Beat us down, terrorize us, hurt our families, kill us... in the end it won't matter, because though our bodies decay... the soul lives on forever... our tiny grain of sand never disappears.
There are those in this world who feel they are better, stronger, nobler, wealthier, more educated, more family oriented, more spiritual... but at the end of the day, you are no different than I am... you too are a tiny grain of sand... and although I cannot rid you of my peoples existence, I know that someday, in that divine cosmic plan by the Great Dragon, My origin.. you will have learned a valuable lesson.
Embrace your Tiny Grain of Sand, and you Embrace Divinity. No one can take that away from you. NO ONE.
So, what was my lesson for today? Guilt. I felt guilt on many levels. I felt guilt for all the bad luck Rose has come into, I felt guilt for making a choice for my family to not have more children ( I have been subjected to bitching because " How Dare I Only Have One Child...Its not Fair to THEM " ), and guilt for telling the Gods where they could shove it 2 months ago... since then...life has been rather...smooth?
I learned today that guilt is not needed... but when one feels guilt... it shows they have humility, kindness, and a good heart. I cannot feel guilt for telling my Gods where to shove it... For they, like me, are also a Tiny Grain of Sand... Any man or woman who falls to their knees in servitude and fear is someone who is afraid to admit that they too matter. The Gods are not there for us to serve, nor are they there to serve us... we are both here to teach one another... to experience... to gain higher enlightenment... to embrace our tiny grains of sand...
