Like the Graceful Dolphin, I shall Dive into the Chaotic Oceans!

So, as Jackie already knows... I had a rather HORRIBLE morning. My darling little Peanut did something to her eye. I didn't exactly see what happened since my back was turned...but I am naming it " The sock incident ". Emania was trying to pull her sock off her foot as soon as I crawled out of my cave... what we THINK happened... is her hand slipped and she punched herself in the eye. Yeah I know, it sounds WAY out there...but...thats all I got...LMAO. So...at first we didn't think anything, because after the first initial 5 minute scream-a-thon... she seemed alright.... but it became progressively worse. Her eye swelled up, started watering, turned dark pink, and alls I heard for 6 hours was " OUCH MY EYE!!!!!!! ". The doctors office, was of course, closing at noon for the holiday, and booked full... so they said to bring her in on Friday. I'm looking at Emania who's ready to rub her pretty little eyeball out into oblivion... so I thought..." No fucking way are we waiting ". SO... we took her to the ER. The ER receptionist nurse was being shitty.... but can ya blame her? I could EASILY picture someone who just punched their kid in the eye claiming they punched themselves... so I didn't say boo to her. Luckily... the actual ER nurse and doc on call... were very non judgemental... especially the doc...who happened to be a FINE young looking Doctor I might add ( Hehe )... Anyways...he came in and said " I heard something about a sock? "... we said " Yeah she was pulling it off..." at which point he cut in and said, " And she punched herself in the eye, right? ". The doctors crackin up laughing and says " Don't worry...its more common than you think...and I know I'VE done it before ". Gods bless him. So the doc starts telling us all her symptoms...and we're just nodding in disbelief... So he finally says..." Sounds like she scratched it with her nail...wanna find out for sure? " We're like " Sure..." so after holding the tiny Peanut down so he could put this awful yellow dye in her eye... he grabs this blue light and shines it in her eye...and there...right in the center of her cornia... is a small dot... the infamous scratch. Doc told us not to worry... cornias heal VERY quickly...but just to be sure...he prescribed her some antibiotic drops in case of infection... Amazing what one little scratch can do...OY FUCKING VEY!!!
