Like the Graceful Dolphin, I shall Dive into the Chaotic Oceans!

                     The Feast was a BLAST!!! Kim needed help in the kitchen so I went right into the " Estrogen Cave " and picked up a knife. We made an incredible 5 course Feast. Some of you may know Kim from the SCA... the Lady Morgan Alandris... a legend to the SCA. She is a trip, and so much fun to hang with. We made armored turnips, Roasted Chickens covered with thick bacon, Roasts seasoned with garlic and Ginger, Ginger bread, Apples seasoned with cinnomon, wrapped and baked in a rich dough, and Kim had made these incredible tarts made with egg, cheese, sage, and spinach leaves, a cabbage dish along the lines of medival coleslaw, seasoned mushrooms, and we also made this incredible pork dish with eggplant and rice... it was sooooooooooooooo good!!! All the recipes were from long, long ago, made from scratch. We had lemon water, coffee, and pop within metal pitchers, everything was served on huge metal platters, or in wooden bowls... and Kim even went as far as to buy glass mugs for everyone. Jamie and I decorated all the tables in burgandy cloth, with wreathes and candles... and beautiful garland. It truly was beautiful. Father Christmas sat at the head of the tables... fat and jolly... thoroughly making smiles for the little ones like Emania, and 6 year old William. Everyone was dressed in their best, with big smiles and occasional moans of enjoyment from the delicious food. It was strange sitting there... in our garb...feasting in dishes I once knew so well... grabbing pieces of bread... enjoying the cheese and the cinnoman butter... drinking out of huge mugs... the only thing missing was my family... my Tuatha... with Davich telling the same story for the 357th time... to my children... laughing with Shoinnan as the men made asses out of themselves... wishing Urkan would sit with me... and maybe even dance though I knew he never would... there was war to be made... Camelots ultimate fighter... a product of evil intentions.
                        The ride home was pretty quiet and peaceful... Emania and Nathan were both clonked out cold. Emania had so much fun and excitement that she never took a nap... and Nathan never laid down for a nap either... so by the end of the feast, Nathan was running on 27 hours of no sleep... but... there was still excitement in both of us... because.................

                        WE HAVE A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        We're buying Lindsay's car for $1000. Its a 1998 Plymouth Breeze 5 speed stick shift, 4 door, green, and it is in MINT condition with just over 57,000 miles on it!!!! This car is BEAUTIFUL!!! They just replaced the battery in it...the old battery was the original... so that tells ya how good the car was taken care of. They also just replaced the one of the tires as well...and it has brand new back brakes. SO... this Thursday our W2's come in so we can get our federal within 24 hours of filing... we can pay Lindsay's dad... and he's gonna come with us to the insurance company, and then to the DMV ( HISS ) where we can pay the taxes, licensing, and all that jazz. I CANNOT WAIT!!! By January 31st...we will be MOBILE!!! Buawahahahahahahaha!!!
