Like the Graceful Dolphin, I shall Dive into the Chaotic Oceans!

I never did post about my weekend...so...here ya go...

Nate was off work Friday through Monday night...so I got to spend some quality time with him, and we talked about alot of stuff...

Saturday we had a LARP event. It RAWKED. We took on an army of Orcs... When I first started this stuff in June...I thought it was gonna be hella dorky, and honestly...I was only doing it for Nate...ya know...spend time with each other... get out of the house...act crazy... but...I LOVED it. Its nice to escape reality once a month and beat up monsters. Besides...the guys and gals are hella nice... and I've made lots of friends. Hell, on out anniversary there was an event and the guy who runs the Laughing Dragon Inn made a cake to celebrate... it was beautiful. Anyways, Saturday our GM Lance told us he had come up with a querky idea... let the Players GM the next game. SO...my friends in Batavia along with Nate and I are GM'ing and NPC'ing ( Non Player Characters ) the next game. We decide what happens. So, what did we decide? BRING BACK THE GODS!!! Buawahahahaha .... So, yours truly will be playing the sexless Diety, the Elemental...  Diety of Nature and Balance. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've had tons of ideas... So wish us luck... October 15th...the world just might end!!!

Sunday morning my parents brought Emania home. By Sunday night...we had alot of problems. Emania has been acting out all summer... and for a few days, she was anti potty. Nice, huh? So Sunday night, we tucked her into bed and had a serious talk with her. I asked her why she didn't want to use the potty anymore. She said, " I can't mommy ". I asked why? She said, " Because I'm stupid ". That hurt. So Nate and I go into uber parent mode and tell her she's not stupid, and dosen't look stupid. I tell her she's the most beautiful Princess ever born, and that she's smarter than most adults I know. But as Dr. Phil says, " It takes 1000 ' atta girls ' to fix one ' That was stupid ' ". So Nate and I are doing damage control with a child who dosen't understand that a certain Irish Tattie with a PHd dosen't know that telling a child she looks stupid when throwing a fit can destroy their self confidence. So kudos to the know-it-all, you just made my daughters world a very unhappy place.

Ontop of all that...Monday morning I call the Vet because Toby's got some issues so I wanna get him checked out...PLUS he has fleas. THEN...Nate and Emania get home from preschool, and Nate tells me Emania needs to start home visits with the speech therapist and the occupational therapist. I knew she needed help with her speech, but I was aware Emania's motor skills are REALLY in crisis. Emania can't hold a utensil ( Never was able to ) and she can't copy anything. For example, she can't trace a straight line on paper... I tried it with her too... she just can't do it, so she gets frustrated and angry. Poor baby. They sent home a paper with the similar idea... trace the lines...straight and squiggly...  she just couldn't do it. She even has a hard time walking...she trips over her own feet. The only thing we can all say Emania is she is very intelligent. Emania is at a genius level when it comes to music and mathematics. Her favorite kind of music is classical. She can SEE the picture in her head of the story the music is telling. It amazed Nate and I. Music she's never heard before she started to name and describe. Meanwhile tapping her fingers on the table and keeping time with a COMPOSER. This child needs an instrument and needs to see the ballet and opera. So perhaps with some help, with her being so young...we can help her to find her potential, and open up a whole new world to her.

Then yesterday, Nate and I watched " Be Cool ". If you haven't seen it, watch it. It was really funny. The Rock is in it and he plays a Gay Body Guard...=))

So, I think thats about it for now... Emania was quiet at school and now she's napping... she brought home her latest masterpiece... a sheep with cottonballs glued all over it =)). Gods bless children.
